Akona Kom also known as the “Dreadlockprincess” is a young black ambitious woman. A South African model, entrepreneur, content creator and aspiring digital marketer. She’s been featured in a couple of national brand magazines, billboards, hair products and TV commercials. Completed her Bcom Business Informatics degree with UNISA in 2018. A COSY Graduate, which is an entrepreneurship Programme by The British Council, she founded her modeling agency Nefertari Model Management in 2017. She’s all about celebrating and embracing the beauty of dreadlocks and the people that rock them and use Facebook Business platforms to sell and market her products - called #LocNation. She is also a Digify Pro talent, where she was equipped with digital marketing skills that will help her grow her business and career in digital marketing. She recently got selected as one of the winners for the 2021 Front Row program by IAB.
